Box Cushion/Window Seat Workshop

What to expect

10am-5pm, Saturday 20th April 2024 COST: £90 At this workshop you can expect to learn the skills required to make up box/window seat cushions to a professional standard! Please bring your sewing machine and a packed lunch with you (tea and coffee will be provided) - please make sure you have a zip/piping foot attachment for your sewing machine These classes are suitable for anyone with a good level of sewing experience. You will receive a Box/Window Seat cushion instruction booklet to take home with you. You will be guided through each stage of the making up process, including the following techniques: Cutting out fabric and placement Making up piping Making up and attaching bands to achieve depth to suit foam Inserting a zip If you would like to bring your own fabric, it will be possible by pre-arrangement to make up a box/window seat cushion - up to 90cms x 50cms - surcharge will apply for foam (payable on the day of the workshop)
