Cushion Making Workshop

What to expect

10am-5pm, Saturday 21st February You will learn to make a boulster, box and scatter cushion Fabric can be provided or you may take your own fabric if you require inners: 45cm x15 cm feather boulster - £15 45cm x 45cm feather scatter inner - £10 40cm x 40cm x 6cm foam with dacron and stockinette - £25 zip & piping - £10 You can pay on the day for what you require COST: £75 not including inners At this workshop you can expect to learn the skills required to make up cushions to a professional standard! Please bring your sewing machine and a packed lunch with you (tea and coffee will be provided) - please make sure you have a zip/piping foot attachment for your sewing machine These classes are suitable for anyone with some sewing experience. You will receive a Cushion Making Instruction booklet to take home with you. You will be guided through each stage of the making up process, including the following techniques: Cutting out fabric and placement Making up piping (can use a zip foot or piping foot) Inserting a zip (please check you have a zip foot for your sewing machine)
