What to expect

Saturday 21st March 2026 10am-5pm Cost: £75 + materials At this workshop you can expect to learn the skills required to make up roman blinds to a professional standard! YOU WILL: Make up a sample roman blind 61cms x 105cms (can be a specific size within these measurements to suit a window in your home) all materials are included You will be guided through each stage of the making up process: Measuring window and quantifying fabric Cutting out Working out folds and measuring Hand sewing and stitching techniques Track and check (including child safety regulations) If you would like to bring your own fabric, it will be possible by pre-arrangement to make a blind up to 100cms x 120cms - surcharge will apply (payable on the day of the workshop) Please bring your sewing machine and a packed lunch with you (tea and coffee will be provided)
