Day out to Emo Court

Updated: 6 days ago

Before Christmas, we swapped needles and tape measures for a proper day out — and what a treat it was. Our team visited one of the beautiful historic houses we had the pleasure of working in 2025, where we dressed five windows across three rooms (yes, we counted… proudly).

Seeing our work again in situ was a bit like bumping into an old friend who’s still looking fabulous. The swags and tails, soft pelmets, and curtains were all behaving themselves beautifully — still hanging with grace and doing exactly what they were designed to do: steal the show without shouting about it.

Keep an eye out for our beautiful deep pile velvet curtains on the tour!

The day got even better when we caught up with a former team member who once worked alongside us. There was plenty of reminiscing, laughter, and the universal agreement that fabric choices never really leave your soul.

And of course, no visit would be complete without a stop at the house’s coffee shop. Excellent coffee, excellent cake, and absolutely no measuring tapes in sight — bliss.

A lovely reminder that our work becomes part of a home’s story… and that sometimes, it’s nice to sit back and admire it with a cuppa.
